Let's sing it with a smile as a war cry in the culture war!
All you need to do is to 'update' the first line:
"Please Wish Me A Merry Christmas" ...




Holy Season's Greetings!


In this 'politically correct' age, often store employees
are told to NOT to wish you a Merry Christmas,
 unless the customer initiates it.
So, let's initiate it--and be wished "Merry Christmas"
--- throughout the store!
If you've ever put a yellow ribbon on your car or a tree, or worn a colored ribbon on your lapel to show support for ANYTHING, from thankfulness to our brave troops to the cure for morning breath ;^)  --  I hope you'll join thousands of others in this grassroots volunteer project:

We often hear catchy phrases like The Customer is always right and The Customer Is King and We Do It All For You.

We've heard the two versions of  The Golden Rule:  The original, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'
and a less-inspired one, 'Them what has the gold, makes the rules.'   Well, my fellow Christmas shoppers, actually, you have that gold, that power, in your purse or wallet.   YOU make the rules about where you shop.

They're singing our song.  Or at least, they should be.  What songs do we want to hear at Christmastime, anyway?   (Hint to any retailers reading this: it isn't bland, Politically Correct elevator music!)   Retailers are paying money to songwriters via music companies like Muzak to entice you to shop and keep shopping.  So it sounds like, they want to know what YOU want to hear in their store, right?  (Hint to shoppers:  If you don't like the channel, you can't change the channel but you can change STORES.)  So, tell the retailers what you want to hear!
 
Said the Night Wind to the little lamb:
"Do You Hear What I Hear?"
Conscientious, inquiring minds want to know what you hear and see when you are Christmas shopping...

Never mind about Santa, WE'RE MAKING A LIST ...
and every shopper in town can be CHECKING IT TWICE... 
by sharing our shopping experiences on the Christmas Bulletin Board.

And THEN---
Let's go Christmas Caroling! at every possible military hospital, rest home, children's hospital and hospice.

Here's the plan:

1.  Sign up to post on the Christmas Bulletin Board. It's fast, easy and free.  You'll get a reply email with a special link to activate your Bulletin Board posting privileges.

2.  Go to the Instructions and Ideas Page to  download the printable artwork (buttons, car sign, lapel pin...) and instructions.  Print it on any color printer at home or office.  Print extras and pass them around!

3. BEFORE SHOPPING:  As you PLAN to go shopping, check out the bulletin board, see what people really think of the stores you are considering.

4.  While you are Christmas shopping, ask everyone in the store -- every employee and other customers to  "PleaseWishMeAMerryChristmas"    If somebody says "Happy Holidays" nicely ask them, "What Holy-Day are you talking about?"

5.  AFTER SHOPPING:  Share your experiences on the Christmas Shopping Bulletin Board.
Please come back here after shopping and post a few brief comments about your shopping experiences.  Others who cherish Christmas want to know before THEY go shopping.

6.  Visit the Christmas Caroling Bulletin Board.  It has the resources you need to find--or PLAN--a Christmas Caroling get-together in your community!

The source of the inspiration for this site--
God gave me this idea when I was in a retail store on the way home from church Sunday evening, November 20, 2005--when I heard an old-fashioned Christmas song.  The kind containing actual Bible verse quotes!.  The kind that honored the Christ of Christmas.  I was glad to support that retailer with my purchases.  I hope to read many similar stories, including yours.


Did you know?  Target has again BANNED the Salvation Army from raising money to help the poor and needy.  Can you believe that?  A big lump of coal in their stocking just to start things off.

Boycott or shop whatever store(s) as God may lead you to do.  Please look for the Made In America stuff--let's support American companies and American employees!

I've listed a few of the very best charities and Christmas-friendly organizations below, for your year-end donations.  Please consider supporting them with a generous gift.


NOTE:  I pray we can touch lives and hearts with this campaign.  Stand up for your faith, boldly with grace and truth...be gracious, no matter what the response is.  Do NOT be like those who do un-Christlike things.  DO NOT maliciously leave shopping carts full of merchandise, resort to vandalism or treat rudely anyone who does not treat Christmas or Christian views with the eternal JOY we know and celebrate.   Anti-Christians do that, because they are hurting and don't feel loved--they haven't a prayer or a smile and need one of yours!   What Would Jesus Do?  Since we're celebrating the birth of Jesus, certainly we want to behave as Jesus would.  That's NOT to throw the moneychangers out of their own cash registers, by the way!  ;^)     We change the world one heart at a time.  Jesus told Twelve Friends, and they each told two friends, and so on and so on...

-- Put up a Nativity Scene on your property or in your car!  If you can't put up an actual one, PRINT two copies of one of their pages with Nativity Scene photos, trim it with scissors and put it on your car and front door!

This year, TAKE A STAND on your own property.  And on your person--clothing, hat, etc.  Read the ads carefully before you go shopping.  You cherish Christmas.  Please consider shopping with merchants who at least acknowledge Jesus' birth--even if it's only due to business motivations.  And when you encounter those who claim to teach 'tolerance' -- gently remind them to not be hypocrites--to be tolerant and practice the 'diversity' they preach -- and ask them to  Please Wish Me A Merry Christmas.  Yes, even to Michael Newdow.

  Boy Scouts of America - BSA - National Council  -- Scouting helps  "Preparing Young People to Make Ethical and Moral Choices Over Their Lifetimes" (unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Girl Scouts at this time).  The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America supports more than 300 local councils that provide quality youth programs, including Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing.  It is the very DECENCY of the Boy Scouts, in following Biblical principles, that is why so the noisy hate-filled 'tolerance advocates' give the Scouts such a bad time. Support the Scouts!

Coral Ridge Ministries is a radio, television, and print outreach that is touching the lives of millions, nationwide and overseas. Focus On The Family -- Dr. James Dobson stands for what is good, right and true, for America and Families.

Liberty Counsel is a nonprofit civil liberties education and legal defense organization dedicated to preserve religious freedom.

 The National Alliance Against Christian Discrimination is a nationwide effort to monitor and speak out against anti-Christian bias, bigotry, intolerance, defamation, and discrimination toward Bible believers.

Pacific Justice Institute defends our rights and freedoms in the courts and the public square, serving as a resource for all those whose liberties are being violated and for those who want to become equipped to defend and put to full use the freedoms we've been given.

The Salvation Army -- U.S. National Headquarters  -- This honorable global charity works both to help feed and shelter the poor--and minister to their souls.  It is this spiritual element that is at the heart of its being shunned by companies like Target, please keep this in mind as you shop...elsewhere.

Did You Know?   Christmas is important to history.  The birth of Christ divides all human history into two eras:  Before Christ (B.C.)  and Anno Domini (A.D).  A.D. is the abbreviation for the Latin words Anno Domini, meaning "The Year of our Lord."  2005 AD, then, means 2,005 years since the approximate date of the birth of Christ.  If you see the alternatives, B.C.E. and C. E. then realize that they ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT that they do mean "Before the Christian Era" and  "Christian Era" ...That isn't the reason some anti-Christmas types use them, those sad folks are trying to remove Christ from our history as well.  Jesus SAID He would be a 'stumbling block' to many--and some people just need to be offended, with the Word of God, in a loving, Godly way --  Wish them a Merry Christmas.   They NEED it! And then they can prove how tolerant and sensitive they are to our cultural diversity!  Don't you just love Christmas?
