"Let's Go Christmas Caroling!"
Free Planning Resources

Most people have some Christmas Caroling books around.  Most church hymnals have some carols in them.  The two things most often lacking are somebody to take just a little initiative to get things going--and knowing when and where to go caroling.  So I've assembled a few resources on this page for you. Just take the first step to get things going.-- others will be glad to join in, I'm sure

You may have a group of friends from church or your neighborhood and not need to use the Caroling Bulletin Board to find others.  If so, just use the directories below to find places to go--and GO!   If you want to share your experiences, also feel free to use the Bulletin Board.

WHERE
TO GO CAROLING:

Take a look at the suggestions and search engines and directories below--plus your local phone book--and find several places you can go carol.
You don't need a big group--several people is good, large groups are good too.   The important thing is to GO!

WHEN TO GO CAROLING:
You can go anytime, day or evening--go several times!  Here is a good free online calendar you can use

CAROLING BOOKS:
People know the tunes but need the words. You can find the words to Christmas Carols in most hymn books, or
online with a search for "Christmas Carols"  using Dogpile or Teoma or Google  or other search tools.

How to Christmas Carol, if you've never been...

Pick a couple of places to go, load up a carful or two of people, walk slowly as you sing and mingle, squeeze hands and smile.  Savor life!

I'd love for ALL our elected leaders to LEAD us in Christmas Caroling!...

Is Christmas Political?  Sad to say, yes, it has been made that way lately. And I hope to be proved wrong--but it seems that there are very few Democrats who treasure America's tradition of Christmas celebrations.  (Attention, DNC, if I am wrong about this PLEASE contact me and I will gladly update this information!)  Iindeed, the anti-Christmas, anti-traditional Family and ACLU atheist types are almost invariably Democrats.   Democratic Party web site

I contacted the Republican Party and asked if they would want to participate.  I got a definite indication of general interest, as expected, so here is are links to find your local, state and national Republican legislators and GOP Offices:  Most will be glad to support Christmas Caroling activities some way or another.  Share your stories on the Bulletin Board, if you like!

From the U.S. Map shown here, you can go to your state, then find the local elected officials.  Here also is a link to contact  local GOP offices using this directory page..you might be able to use the office for parking, carpooling and an afterglow...bring cookies, hot cider, caroling books....

Contact Congress!  Maybe they and their staff can join us at the grassroots level -- or help coordinate or announce these events locally
